Use of information, data protection and internet privacy

Primrose Laboratories develops, produces and sells products under the name Primrose Laboratories and other private labels.

Primrose Laboratories respects the privacy of all users of its website www.primroselaboratories.com and ensures that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially. Primrose Laboratories will not sell your personal data to third parties. Our employees and third parties engaged by us are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data.

Personal data

Primrose Laboratories collects and processes personal data, including name, address, telephone number, e-mail address or other information only if it has been provided to Primrose Laboratories on a voluntary basis through the contact form on our website or by e-mail. Primrose Laboratories processes the personal data you have provided in order to improve the level of service and the content of the Website, for example to update the material on the Website or to provide you with requested information by e-mail and to ask your opinion about our services.

In accordance with the current legislation on the protection of personal data (in Belgium this is the Personal Data Protection Act), you are always entitled to inspect your data. On request you will receive a printout of the data we have on you. You have the right to have your personal data removed, corrected and/or completed by Primrose Laboratories.

Data on your health

If you provide us with information about your health through the contact form on our website or by e-mail, you hereby authorise Primrose Laboratories to process this data in order to provide you with the best possible service in advising you about our products.

The use of IP addresses

An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a group of numbers that is automatically assigned to your computer each time you log on to your Internet service provider or through your organisation's local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN). Web servers automatically identify your computer based on the IP address that was assigned to it while you were online.

Primrose Laboratories may collect IP addresses for system administration and to monitor the use of our websites. We do not normally link a user's IP address to any information that can be traced back to a user. This means that each visit by a user is logged, but that user remains anonymous to us. However, we may use IP addresses to identify users of our site if we believe it is necessary to do so in order to enforce the terms governing use of our website or to protect our services, our site or other users.

The use of cookies and Google Analytics

We use cookies on this website. A cookie is a small text file that is sent with the pages of this website and stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive. We use cookies to remember your settings and preferences.

With Google Analytics, we track how our website is reached and how it is used. This anonymised information, including your IP address, is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Please read the Google privacy policy for more information, as well as the specific privacy policy of Google Analytics. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on Google's behalf. We have no influence on this.

Links to other websites

As a service to our users, our website may contain links to third-party websites, over which Primrose Laboratories has no control. The privacy policy described here does not apply to third party websites. You should check the terms of use and privacy policies applicable to third-party websites.

Use of cookies

When you visit this website, cookies may be installed. A cookie is a small amount of data sent by the web server to your browser (with your approval) which can only be read by the server that sent it to you. The cookie serves as your identification card: your passwords, purchases and preferences are recorded in it. A cookie cannot be executed as code and cannot transmit viruses. Cookies are not computer programs and cannot read other information stored on your hard drive. They cannot be used to collect e-mail addresses or other user data. You therefore surf anonymously on the website and have access to important information without your identity being revealed. Cookies are used to speed up and facilitate your next visit to the site. A cookie, for example, can remember your language choice so that you do not have to enter it again each time.

Cookies allow Primrose Laboratories to collect only anonymous or approved non-personal information, such as the IP/Internet address of your computer and the navigation and operating system you use. This information allows us to continuously improve our website for our visitors. Our cookies do not allow for direct identification of the users. Their use therefore does not constitute an infringement of your privacy.

Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether to accept it or not. Visiting some web pages requires the acceptance of cookies. Users who do not wish to receive cookies will then not be able to access such web pages. Please consult the manual of your web browser for more information on this subject.

Disable cookies?

You can disable these cookies via your browser settings. Disabling cookies only affects the computer and browser on which you perform this operation. If you use multiple computers and/or browsers, you should repeat this action as often as necessary.
